Chase Culp

Chase Culp customizes his lessons with each student to meet their needs and learning styles while maintaining a consistent curriculum that teaches the basics of drumming and most importantly musicianship.   Chase holds a BA in Music Education from University of Utah.  During his tenure there, Chase was a member of the award winning National Champion U of U Percussion Ensemble.   He has also played on Robert Schuller's Hour of Power, toured though out the United States, Australia, Caribbean, and South America.    Chase has played with Peter Distefano, James Byrd, Jerry Cantrell, and done music for the XBOX, various movies and commercials.  He currently plays with The Crying Spell (www.thecryingspell.com)  and Point One (Adrenalin Records).   His bands have shared the stage with Sevendust, Godsmack, Kings of Leon, Avenged Sevenfold, Green Day, Buckcherry, Thriving Ivory and many more.

Chase has studied with Doug Wolf, Steve Houghton, Ed Soph, Kenny Aronoff and continues to study with some of his favorite players.Some of Chase's students have gone on to earn degrees from such schools as Berklee School of Music, University of Miami, & more.   Several are now working as professionals musicians across the United States.

Piano - Beginner
Specialties: Musicianship, Beginners, Double Bass Drumming, Hand Technique, Reading, Multiple styles(Jazz, Funk, Rock, & Latin)
