The Full Bio
Adam is a WA State Certified Music Educator who received his credentials from the University of Washington. He has played drum set for over 25 years and has taught drum set for 13 years. He currently plays drums for Common Market, Vunt Foom, and Theoretics. Adam strives to teach not only superb drumming technique, but also soulful musicianship, musical literacy, conscious practicing skills, and development of personal creativity. He is currently designing a curriculum around the instruction of hip-hop drumming.  In addition to instructing at DBDS, Adam is a full-time Elementary Music Specialist in the Lake Washington School District.
