No experience required. We'll have you playing the drumset in your first session. Learn to play beats and fills along with your favorite music. See first hand how much fun it is to play the drumset.

SUMMER DRUMSET CAMP
TBA 2012 - $325
Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced. This is the 9th year for this extremely popular camp. Chase Culp will teach topics including drum set history, basic musicianship, technique, tuning, grooves from several styles, playing with a rhythm section, double bass drumming and chart reading. Students will also get to experience recording in a recording studio.



Several guest instructors (to be announced) will teach portions of the program. Past guests have included Alan White (Yes, John Lennon),Kenny Aronoff, Michael Derosier (Heart), Michael Shrieve (Santana) and many more. Must have minimum drumset skills.

SUMMER ROCK BAND CAMP

So you wanna be a Rockstar? Check out our Summer Rock Band Camp. Players with basic understanding of the Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards, and Vocals will learn how to combine their talents and perform as a band. Instructors Eric Snyder and Chase Culp (Point One, The Crying Spell) cover a range of topics including rhythm section, dynamics, songwriting, soloing, music business and rehearsal techniques. Guest artists (to be announced) will teach segments on topics including music business, musicianship, recording, etc. Students will also have group private instruction during the week on their instrument.

Each band will have a professional rehearsal room equipped with a full PA, Amps, andDrumset. The camp is very hand-on and will offer students plenty of performance time. On the final day of the camp attendees will perform live onstage in a concert for their friends and families at Studio Seven in Seattle, one of Seattle's most popular rock venues. DRUM TECHNIQUES OF LED ZEPPELIN'S JOHN BONHAM
Wednesdays @ 6:00-7:00 PM - $100
Learn the grooves, fills, and techniques that made Bonham one of the greatest rock drummers of all time. Play along to pre-recorded Zeppelin tracks, learn how to develop some of Bonham's most famous licks. Ready for a workout and a challenge? This is the class for you!

DOUBLE BASS CLASS
Thursdays @ 7:00pm - 8:00pm - $100
Whether you're new to playing double bass or want to build on what you already know this one's for you. Learn double bass beats and fills and techniques to build speed, power and agility with your feet.

ROCK BAND CLASS
2 month session, $150.00 per month. - $300
First session Sundays @ 2:30pm to 4:00pm

CHOP SHOP CLASS
Tuesdays @ 6:30 - 7:15 PM (45 min) - $80
Improve your speed, feel and coordination on the snare drum then apply your new lightning chops to the drumset. This weekly course focuses on basic hand and endurance exercises and how to apply them creatively on the drum set.
