 This is an actual pair of Ringo's stage used drumsticks spectacularly displayed with a photo, autograph and re-creation of the finish from one of his custom drum sets. These pieces were designed by Jeff Chonis, Ringo's trusted drum tech of over twenty-one years, and the same person that designed Ringo's famous abalone and Swarovski crystal drum sets used on the 2006 and 2008 All-Starr Band tours. There will be only 72 pieces of each of these limited edition displays. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity. It's been a few years since we've hosted our extremely popular drummer's swap meet. Turn your old drum gear into cash or trade for something new. We're digging deep into our back room and pulling out piles of buried treasure. Hardware, Pedals, Cymbals, Sets, Singles, Snares, Heads, Cases, Books, DVDs and more. We're discovering more stuff every day. Drummer's Swap Meet at Donn Bennett Drum Studio - Saturday, 6/26, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM PLUS you can take an additional 10% off of ANY drum set in the store. FREE admission for buyers, sellers can purchase a table for $25.00. We'll be set up in a big tent in the parking lot plus there will be lots of cool deals in the shop as well.  Benny Greb is one of the worldwide drumming community’s most innovative drummers. He has performed at high profile events such as the Modern Drummer Festival in USA, Montreal Drum Festival Canada, Drummer Live at Wembley Arena London, and was already invited twice to perform at the Percussive Arts Society Convention in the USA. You can find him in rock settings with German singer Stoppok and The Ron Spielman Trio, in jazz with his own Benny Greb Brass Band and Turkey’s Sabri Tulug Tirpan. He is the inspiration behind Meinl Cymbals hottest new cymbals, the Benny Greb Sand Ride and Sand Hats. For everyone who missed Stanton Moore this last February, we are happy to announce that he will be back in the shop on Monday, May 17th. He will be in town with his own group the Stanton Moore Trio, performing at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard on Sunday, May 16th in support of his new album "Groove Alchemy." In addition to this album, which will be released on April 13th, he has also released an Educational Book and DVD, also entitled "Groove Alchemy." Both of these instructional products are designed to explore the roots of funk drumming by examining the creative processes and performances of drummers such as Jabo Starks, Clyde Stubblefield, and Zigaboo Modeliste. This is an incredibly valuable opportunity to get inside Stanton's personal creative process, offering transcriptions of the beats he used on the album, along with an explanation of how he came up with them. If you want to dive further into Stanton's brain, he will be offering small group lessons (2-4 people) and a big group (25 person capacity) clinic/masterclass. Seth Davis is establishing his name worldwide as an educator and clinician by possessing insane speed, incredible power, innovative and musical application to polyrhythyms, and complex thought provoking odd-time signature musical compositions. Seth's knowledge of hand technique has gained him the most attention. Seth is the author of The Moeller Killer which many feel is one of the world's most innovative and powerful hand techniques. Seth will be joining us to present a clinic on May 3rd at 6:30 PM for only $10. His grasp of hand technique and efficiency make this a class that you will not want to miss. Also, if you're interested in studying privately with him, he will be teaching private hour long lessons all day on May 4th, for only $60/hour.
